Brazilian Nostalgia | Caico Shirts

Caico Shirts are crafted using a centenary embroidered technique called Richelieu. It's a very typical form of woman empowerment from the region my ancestors come from, in the countryside of Brazilian northeast. They have allowed woman to work and provide for themselves throughout artisanal work for hundreds of years.

On those pieces, the designs are meant to bring some modernity and spice up the old and gold Richelieu embroideries.
